Abdominoplasty

Abdominoplasty is the surgery that removes “abdominal skirt” consisting of fat and/or soft skin. The intervention is facilitated by a previous weight loss successful diet. The procedure requires a day or two of hospitalization, pain is minimal. This surgery may be associated with the intervention of strengthening the abdominal muscles or fixing hernias (eg. umbilical). Healing takes a period of 15-21 days.
