CO2 Fractional LASER Treatment of Wrinkles

Fractional CO2 LASER is the newest method of treatment for facial wrinkles.

A hand piece is connected to the LASER generator and this device will cover the skin with light radiation as a group of smaller beams; the number, density and position being controlled by the physician. The purpose of multiple distributions is to act selectively on portions of affected skin. Laser beams causes tissue collagen’ regeneration in dermis and a local revascularization.

Regeneration is accompanied by skin stretching in the treated area, hence the anti-aging effect. Procedure is performed in the treatment cabinet and requires only local anesthesia. A protection from UV radiation is necessary for 30 days and can be used also thermal water sprays to clean the face. There are no painful symptoms but skin will be red for a few days. The most commonly treated areas are the face and hands.
