Dr. Dana Jianu was formed as a plastic surgeon in PlasticSurgery, Reconstructive and Burns with Romanian specialists in Academic Hospital of Plastic Surgery, Reconstructive and Burns with Prof. Florin Isac and collaborators, a very busy hospital treating the most difficult cases Nationwide of work(industrial) accidents and Burns. She is part of the first generation of post -communist Romanian plastic surgeons.

Her main focus is Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and in Regenerative Plastic Surgery. Her expertise in Aesthetic PS field was gained abroad with renowned surgeons (between 1990-1994): Prof. Valeriu Popescu (Hamburg, Germany), Dr. David Sharp (UK), Dr. Giovanni Botti (Salo, Italy), Dr. Giorgio Fischer (Rome, Italy), Dr. Pierre Fournier, Dr. Benjamin Ascher (Paris, France) , Dr. Steven Hoefflin (Santa Monica, USA) just to name a few.

Related to Regenerative field, she is Scientific Researcher of ProEstetica Medical Center on the platform of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Romania, Ex. Associate Professor UMF „Carol Davila”. Dana Jianu is nationally and internationally renowned for his expertise and contribution to the aesthetic plastic surgery with several articles and book chapters, many congresses and workshops as organiser, course director, moderator and invited speaker.

In her quality of the above mentioned professional bodies President of the International Society of Regenerative Medicine and Surgery (ISRMS), the European Society for Laser Aesthetic Surgery (ESLAS), Romanian “Beauty through Health” Association ,Vice-President of Romanian Association of Plastic Surgeons (ROAPS),Past President of the Romanian Aesthetic Surgery Society (RASS) , Board Member of the Council of Bucharest College of Physicians, Romanian National Secretary of ISAPS- International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, member in Patient Safety Committee of European Association of Aesthetic Surgery Societies( EASAPS) ,ISAPS Women Committee and International Accreditation Surveyor of American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities International (AAAASFI) she promotes high quality standards plastic aesthetic surgery ,patient’s safety ,innovation and women surgeons’s support.
